Full Disclosure: I received this product for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.I came into this book with little to none knowledge about SQL but the need to extend that knowledge for work. I found the book easy to read and understand. It covers the basics that you need to know as a starter. It focuses on one Microsoft database called Northwind which you have to install to to Access of SQL whichever you use. If you have that database, you can easily work with the book and do the examples step by step on your own system.The book starts off with database creation so it really is a beginner's guide even for those who have zero knowledge. I have read a few books which have ommitted this step and while I know how to create and update a database, two of my friend who worked with me had problems because they had no idea how to setup a database and this couldn't quite follow the programming because they had no database to work with. Not so here. This book starts right at the beginning.
